Planting
Choose partial shade or dappled light and moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Use it along a woodland path, on a shaded slope or in a container.
Care
Water before the soil dries out completely, particularly in hot weather. Although relatively tolerant of heat and humidity, dry roots can lead to scorched leaves and declining growth.
