Planting
Use full sun and loose, well-drained soil. Plant in small groups along a border or as a low hedge, allowing the airy stems to keep their natural rounded outline.
Care
Cut back in late winter and remove dead stems; flowers develop on new growth. Avoid excessive fertiliser, which encourages weak, lanky growth.
Before planting: Stems may die back in colder climates. Poor drainage can cause crown rot.
