Planting
Plant in full sun or partial shade with well-drained sandy or loamy soil. Give this spreading shrub room in a border, on a bank or in a large container.
Care
Prune surviving woody stems hard in spring to encourage flowering on new growth. Water regularly during extreme heat, even where the plant otherwise tolerates drier soil.
Before planting: Unsuitable for full shade.
