Planting
Plant in sun or partial shade with moist, well-drained soil. It adapts to several soil types and suits groups in perennial borders, meadows or pollinator planting.
Care
Leave some flower heads to set seed for birds. Retain sections of the hollow dead stems as nesting habitat for bees.
Before planting: It can reseed around the garden, and aster yellows is a possible disease problem.
