Planting
Choose full sun and average to rich soil that stays moist or wet. It fits rain gardens, damp meadow planting and the edges of ponds or streams.
Care
Cut back in early summer to encourage branching and more flowers. Remove faded flower heads to extend the display, and watch foliage for mildew or rust.
Before planting: Flowers, leaves and seeds are harmful if swallowed in large quantities.
