Planting
Use full sun or partial shade with average to rich soil that remains moist or wet. A damp meadow, pond edge or rain garden suits it better than a dry border.
Care
Cut back in early summer to encourage branching and more flower stems. Support tall growth if needed, especially where stems lean under the flowers.
Before planting: The plant can irritate skin and is toxic if swallowed in quantity.
