Planting
Choose full sun for the strongest flowering and neutral to alkaline soil that drains freely. Let it trail over a low wall, raised bed or container edge.
Care
Trim about one-third of the growth after flowering to encourage fresh shoots. In cold climates, mulch to reduce winter damage.
Before planting: Wet, poorly drained soil can cause crown rot.
