Planting
Choose sun or partial sun and acidic, well-drained soil. It tolerates occasional dry or wet conditions and suits meadows, slopes or planting near ponds.
Care
Check the edges of the clump as it spreads. Hardscape boundaries can help contain it; divide plants when you want to extend the planting.
Before planting: It can spread rapidly and needs space or a defined boundary.
