Planting
Plant nursery-propagated stock in fertile, moist soil, in sun or shade. It fits woodland borders and the edges of ponds or rain gardens.
Care
Water during dry spells and remove faded flowers for a possible second flush. Cut stems back after flowering; foliage can fade in summer heat and recover later.
Before planting: May irritate skin and is harmful if eaten; wear gloves when handling.
