Planting
Choose full sun with moist but well-drained soil. Sandy or rocky ground is suitable; very fertile soil can encourage sprawling growth.
Care
Remove spent blooms for more flowers and fewer seedlings. Divide every two or three years to maintain vigour, and cut back hard if stems become too sprawling.
Before planting: It can seed aggressively, so allow room or keep on top of deadheading.
