Planting
Choose full sun and moderately fertile, dry, well-drained soil. It tolerates some shade and suits hot, dry banks, rock gardens and naturalised planting.
Care
Keep winter drainage working so water does not collect around the roots. Allow space for the clump to expand, as it can spread quickly in favourable conditions.
