Planting
Choose partial or full shade and moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. It fits woodland borders and can provide shallow-rooted cover around spring bulbs.
Care
Cut back the stems after flowering to help control powdery mildew. Watch for spider mites in hot, dry weather and for rabbits feeding on the leaves.
