Planting
Use full sun or partial shade in a meadow, rock garden or informal border. It accepts several soil types and some dryness, with space for its rhizomes to extend.
Care
Apply a summer mulch to keep the root zone cool. Check the edge of the clump and control growth where it begins spreading into neighbouring planting.
Before planting: Hot, dry conditions can encourage spider mites.
