Planting
Choose full sun and well-drained ground, including rocky soil. In regions with intense summer heat, some afternoon shade is useful; allow for a rounded shrub about as wide as tall.
Care
Established plants tolerate dry conditions. To make more plants, take semi-ripe stem cuttings, which root readily.
Before planting: Winter hardiness varies by cultivar, so check the named plant against your local conditions.
